Here is a funny story. I was seeing the Getty Center in Santa Monica on a Saturday evening with two guys from Greece. The place was beautiful and I was enjoying the evening breeze and sunset. The two Greeks started talking in Greek. So I didn't understand what's going on. As we were about to leave, two girls asked one of the Greek to take pictures for them. Accidentally, she speaks Greek. And my Greek friend seemed to be a little embarrassed. After the pictures were taken, my friend told me "Greek's everywhere!" I asked why do you say so. He said "I were saying the girl in pink is very nice in Greek and then they asked me to take their picture. They must hear me. It always happen to me. " Haha, so watch out what you are saying even though you are not speaking English here.
Then my other Greek friend feed in his story. He was with his Greek friends walking down a street and a pretty woman walking towards them. His friend said "The girl is nice, but the dress is awful.", of course in Greek and thinking the woman wouldn't understand. But what do you know, she stop and said to them in Greek "Why don't you like it?" I asked what did you guys say to here. My friend said they just fled the crime scene. I wonder why did you tell her what didn't you like about. I was reminded that the woman was not looking for a logical explanation. Ah, right. Never ever say bad things about a woman's outfit.
